>I hate to even tell people to go to Tayst; because I really don’t like (ethically) a lot of the meals they sell or what’s on their menu.
HOWEVER.
Tayst is:
1. the ONLY certified green restaurant in Nashville, TN
2. the ONLY place in Nashville, TN that will make you a multiple course, vegan meal without calling in advance.
That being said; The New York Times wrote an article abotu Tayst recently and pointed out a delicious vegan option that involves pumpkin ravioli.
So call Tayst. Tell them you love vegan options. In the same call, tell them that foie gras is cruel and so is veal!!

I like cumin and smoked paprika way more than I should, winter squashes make me happy, and while I do like most fruits, I only *love* berries and mangoes. I still think Earth Balance is the best fake butter, Vegenaise is the best vegan mayo, and Almond Milk tastes better than soy milk. Chia seeds are my favorite egg substitute for the most part, and pumpkin tends to bind better than applesauce-especially in chocolate goods. I know a lot about food and nutrition, but that doesn't mean I'm the healthiest person. I tend to avoid eating out because I know I can make food that tastes better at home.
